Porcelain Veneers in Englewood Cliffs NJ

Bergen County’s Premier Team of Dental Experts at 201 Dental Care offer the finest in Cosmetic Dentistry

Did you know that If your teeth are crooked, cracked, discolored or misaligned there is a simple and convenient solution that can give you the smile you have always dreamed of in no time at all! At 201 Dental Care we are a team highly trained multi-specialty dentists located just minutes from midtown Manhattan. Dr. Susman a New York native and graduate of New York University College of Dentistry has been practicing for more than 25 years and is a prominent entity in the global dental community. An expert in the art and science of Cosmetic, Restorative, Implant and Reconstructive dentistry Dr. Susman explains to us the procedural aspect of porcelain veneers and the method in which he delivers his patients a glamorous celebrity smile in just two short office visits!
The first step in achieving a perfect smile is always the initial consultation. This gives the patient the opportunity to express exactly what it is they are looking to achieve. “If Porcelain Veneers are the appropriate procedure we schedule the first visit for preparation”. “At this visit we prepare the teeth by reducing or trimming them down very slightly so that the veneers can be bonded to the tooth surface” explains Dr. Susman. A trained assistant will then take an impression of the patient’s teeth prior to installing a temporary veneer which the patient will wear for the week.

The impression is then electronically transmitted to a team of world class ceramists who will follow Dr. Susman’s highly stringent instructions taking into account the patient’s facial structure, lip composition, skin tone and eye color to maximize the impact the veneers will have. The team of ceramists work vigorously using only the highest quality eggshell thin layers of porcelain to produce the veneers. Dr. Susman also specifies the porcelain veneers measure no more than 0.5 millimeters explaining how “this minimizes the extent to which we need to reduce the teeth at the preparation phase and will ensure light can pass through resulting in a very beautiful and natural appearance.”

Dr. Susman’s ceramists understand there is virtually no margin of error for them to work with and manage to get the finished product back to his state-of-the-art Englewood Cliffs facility in a mere week’s time ready for the patient’s final visit at which point the temporary veneer is removed and the porcelain veneer is bonded to the patient’s teeth.
